How this is worked out
What the optimiser checks
Your cost is your unit rates and standing charges across a year. We compare it to the current Ofgem price cap. If you are paying above the cap, a capped or fixed deal is the first win.
Then it looks at how you use power. Charge an EV or heat with electricity and a time-of-use tariff (cheap overnight units) usually beats a flat rate. Have solar and you want a strong export rate. The optimiser surfaces whichever lever saves the most.
An estimate, not a switching service
We do not sell tariffs or take commission for switches. Compare live deals with an Ofgem-accredited comparison site. See the supplier rankings.
